EPO Dynaweight BAL-XV-FS is an improved rapid-curing epoxy dynamic balancing compound for rotating parts. It is a dense, two-component epoxy putty that is used to balance the rotors of electric motors or other rotating parts. The mix ratio is 1:1 by volume or by weight. EPO Dynaweight BAL-XV-FS allows for test balancing and adjustment of applied balancing weight until partial cure is achieved. Pot life is approximately 15 minutes at room temperature, and cure is achieved in approximately 30 minutes, allowing for rapid re-assembly of balanced parts. Higher temperatures accelerate cure and lower temperatures slow cure.
